Before mulching, all flower beds are edged to a 3” depth.
Flower beds are thoroughly gone through and any weeds, grass or debris are removed.
2” layer of mulch is added to improve the appearance of the bed.
Mulching flower beds also helps protect plant root systems, adds nutrients to the soil, and helps prevent weeds from growing.
Tree & Shrub Planting
Before any planting is done, we discuss with our clients their vision for their yard.
With our artistic eye and our clients vision we carefully pick out trees, and shrubs that will work nicely on their property.
During planting we open the new tree or shrubs root system and add fresh topsoil, Pete moss and fertilizer to optimize growth.
Drainage/Grading
One of the biggest problems within homeowners’ properties is water. No matter how nice your landscaping is, improperly drained water can cause erosion, destroy flower beds, and can even harm trees and shrubs.
Adding drains and correcting grades to a property will allow heavy rainwater to drain to certain areas allowing your yard to stay water free.
Correcting grades will also allow your yard to grow grass fully and stop areas from puddling with water causing the grass to die off.
